Review by hotel critic
A Family-Friendly Stay at Porto HotelDuring our recent family vacation at Porto Hotel, we found the experience quite satisfying, especially in terms of amenities catering to families. Our room was impressively spacious, featuring ample storage, comfortable furniture, and a convenient kitchenette—ideal for relaxing evenings after a day at the beach. One highlight was the large bathroom, well-equipped with hooks and space, making it easy for my three sons to keep their belongings organized. The hotel’s proximity to Kalamaki beach was a significant advantage. Just a short walk away, we relished the long, sandy shores that proved perfect for our children. Its calm waters were welcoming for less experienced swimmers, allowing for worry-free fun and exploration. While the breakfast offered a good variety—eggs, cereals, and fresh bread—there was also a lovely rooftop view to enjoy our meals. It certainly started our day on a pleasant note, although I found the coffee somewhat lacking in flavour. Porto Hotel provided us with a comfortable and convenient base for our holiday. With its family-oriented amenities and activities, it is worth considering for those planning a similar getaway.
